So this past Monday Lynlee girl turned 5 months old. I can't believe she is already 5 months. Time really does fly by. She is beginning to love her cereal more and more each day while her mom still thinks it taste like cardboard. I guess when you haven't had anything else but milk for 5 months, bland cereal is the greatest thing invented. She is beginning to sit up and really interact with the things in her environment. It is very cool to watch someone experience something for the first time. She thinks mommy and daddy are the funniest people alive no matter what we say. I hope that never goes away, well at least I can be hopeful.
I can't wait for her first Valentine's day, mostly because I think the outfit she has to wear is really cute. Ill put up a picture of her in the outfit on Monday. My good friend Cara made her shirt for her and I can assure you that you will see more of Cara's work in the future. Lynlee is a regular customer of hers.
Adventure #2
We are having to focus on strengthening Lynlee's neck muscles because she tends to favor one side more. The doctor gave us some exercises to do and said to work on getting her to look at things on the opposite side. Just in case you are wondering, it is not very easy to get a 5 month old to do neck exercises. I have resulted to making up rap songs to go along with the exercises, tickling, doing funny dances, and playing games. The results: she moves her entire body not just her neck, she doesn't move at all just laughs at me, or she cries. Let's hope it gets better the more we do them. I can already see a difference when she is sitting up so maybe my rap songs are working. :)
Yeah!! I'm so glad you have started blogging!!! I need to see sweet Lynlee -- it's been way too long! Mom and I bought her something today while we were out shopping today. We couldn't resist!! Let's plan dinner soon!
