HO HO HO and Polar Express

We took Lynlee to see Santa Claus and it didn't quite go as we planned.  Last year was so much easier and she just thought he was great.  This year, she didn't want to walk by him or even look at him.  We were able to get one good picture but I had to be in the picture with Santa behind us so she couldn't see him.  Then we decided to just take a chance and let Santa hold her.  Ill let you just see the results of that.  Again, I picked my battles and we are taking our Santa pictures with some veggie straws in hand.

Santa this year (Lynlee = very sad with mommy)

Santa last year (Lynlee = happy)

She now loves to walk around the house carrying her pictures with Santa and say Hah hah hah which is her version of HO HO HO.

We also took Lynlee to the Polar Express train ride with a few of her friends.  She loved the train, the cookies, the chocolate milk, the music, and the prizes the elves handed out.  However she did NOT like Santa.  She loved waving at him from the train when he was at the North Pole but once he got on the train all bets were off.

It took a few extra cookies to get over this trauma. Poor Lynlee! Maybe next year will be better.
