'Aloha'

Lynlee with Mommy and Daddy on her big day

Call us crazy but in the south Football is a big thing.  So with that said, we had Lynlee’s first birthday party in August so it didn’t conflict with all the football schedules.  She officially turned 1 on September 7, 2011.  We did a Luau for her party and it was fantastic.  The weather turned out beautiful and we were surrounded by all of our family and friends.  We had water play for the kids, outdoor games for the adults and lots of food.  Lynlee had a great time and loved playing in the swimming pool with her friends and eating her cake.  I had her cakes made by the baker at Western in Vestavia.  This lady is a fantastic cake decorator.  I gave her the invitation, napkin and a few of my ideas and she exceeded my expectations.  I will definitely use her again as well as recommend her to anyone.  She also was able to do a flip flop smash cake for Lynlee that matched her invitation.  I was so excited because I couldn’t find anyone that would make a flip flop cake.  We wanted her first time to try cake to be at her party so we weren’t sure how she would handle it, but little did we know she would follow in her mother’s footsteps of loving sweets.  She LOVED the cake.  Lynlee had a great time and was exhausted when all her party guest left.  It was truly a special day for us and Lynlee and we made great memories.  Thanks to all of our family and friends for coming to celebrate this wonderful little girl with us.
